to democratically strengthen the reviewing power of the Constitution. The IBD maintains,
not only would it force to generate a greater political consensus around the constitutional
reforms, but it would also contribute to the legitimacy of the adjustments and adjustments to
the fundamental principles embodied in our maximum political code.
An important point is that future constitutional development must go beyond the technical-
legal review of the constitutional text. It is important to guide a new constitutional culture
that takes seriously the constitution as SUPREME LAW. A law that must define in a clear and
stable way, as well as the values of the legal system, for which it requires a better knowledge of
the constitution and a closer identification with it by citizens, as an indispensable assumption
for them to be able to demand and effectively monitor compliance with the fundamental law.
All this for a better development of the country and its economic, social and political contexts,
as well as its needs and strengths.

Identity has been highlighted over time since it was not as important as it is nowadays, the
meaning of the word identity has many definitions because it covers several areas, the word
identity comes from the Latin meaning “the same” but this definition has not been understood,
because it can’t explain anything. So, we need to dig deeper.
Identity is related to a person’s personality, as the clearest example is in the cultural field,
this depends on the geographical space where the person is born and also on their family
background, for me this identity is very pretty since they are our roots and they make us feel
proud of who we are, in my case, for the beauty of Mexico.
In other parts of the world you are recognized, because you come from another culture and
that makes you different from others, what I like most about cultural identity is that thanks
to globalization we can meet others and learn from them, in addition to sharing our beliefs,
custom, regional dances, behaviors, food, language, among many more.
Physical characteristics are also part of identity because as I mentioned it has to do with
geographic space or your family background for example if you are born in Belgium and you
are a child of parents from the same place it is likely that your physical characteristics are
white skin and you have light hair, but in China you’re probably getting torn eyes.
Behavior is something that characterizes us as Mexicans because in general we are very happy
and very affectionate with other people, and something that characterizes us is food because
it is very rich compared to others.
Gender identity is the one that has changed most drastically by the LGBT community because
in ancient times it was not so diverse or was not recognized as it is now.
I think identity is very important because they are the characteristics of one person and sets
you apart from others, they make you unique and unrepeatable.
