Dental practice around the world

As we know, dentistry or dental work can be considered expensive by some people. � e prices
of certain procedures may diff er from one country to another and so the perspective of what
dental health means as well as the diff erent possible treatments.
One example of this could be that United States citizens come to Mexico to get a procedure
done because of the price, like a dental implant. � e price for a dental procedure isn’t
expensive if you have a health insurance, but almost 40 percent of Americans don’t have it.
A lot of Americans save money by coming to Mexico and getting the procedure done by a
Mexican dentist, the dental implant, or wisdom teeth removal is the most common treatment
performed. � ey can save up money 3 to 4 times.
Another case is India, where people are much less aware of their dental health and it is really
common not to have health insurance. Dental culture is really diff erent and so is the technology
used, compared to the USA. Although it has been changing through the years, it is really far
from Mexico or the USA.
In Japan things are diff erent. Dental procedures aren’t really expensive and people normally
have health insurance, since they can cost less than a hundred dollars. In Japan the meaning
of dental esthetics can be diff erent; they care about the canines as the guide of occlusion, and
the bigger they are the better it is.
In conclusion, Dentistry can be really diff erent if it is compared to other countries, but no
matter where they must take care of the patients’ health and cover their needs.

Oggigiorno possiamo trovare molte opportunità e opzioni per studiare
nel straniero. Esistono diversi siti nel internet per cercare programmi
internazionali per studiare in un altro paese.
A me mi piacerebbe studiare all’ estero perche penso che è una nouva
opportunità per crescere, conoscere, imparare e vivere nuove esperienze.
Io studio architettura e studierei in Italia nella Università dal Politecni-
co di Milano. Ho scelto questa Università perche aveva gía ascoltato di
quella; occupa il primo posto nell’Italia, è la numero 24 nel mondo di
ingegnería e tecnologia ed é tra le migliori 50 scuole dal mondo in 6 aree:
Architettura, construzione e ambiente, disegno artistico, ingegnería civile
tra altri. Anche ho scelto questo paese perche ho sempre voluto conocerlo,
la sua architettura mi sembra molto interessante e ci sono molti luoghi per
visitare, anche mi aiuterebbe a imparare la lingua da meglio.
Credo che studiare fuori del nostro paese puoi essere di ccile perche
allora abbiamo responsabilità di piú, perche quando studiamo vicino
a la nostra famiglia ci aiutano in qualche modo. Quello che farei io per
puoi pagare le trasferte sarebbe lavorare in qualche posto vicino al mio
appartamento, puoi essere un ristorante, un supermercato, un negozio
oppure qualche posto che posso aiutarmi a risolvere i miei bisogni. Vivre-
bbe vicino all’Università perche così sarebbe piú faccile transportarmi e
forse non utilizzerebbe i mezzi pubblici. Anche avrei trovato una borsa
di studio perche le spese sarebbero magiore.
Mi sembra che studiare nel straniero ci dà l’opportunità d’imparare della
coltura del paese, conoscere nuovi popoli, nuove amicizie, abitudini a cui
mi dovrebbe adeguare ma sarebbe un’esperienza divertente.
